Queenadreena - Heaven Doesn’t Wait (2021)
Andy co-wrote several songs with the English alternative rock band that remain unreleased apart from the demo version of “Heaven Doesn’t Wait”, which features as a bonus track on the 2021 re-issue of the album Djin.
“I was already a fan of Gang of Four (I taught myself to play the ‘Paralysed’ guitar part note for note) when I met Andy and had the pleasure of working with him. He was very down to earth and humorous, and I found him very easy to talk to. He was the producer in this instance but didn’t do any of that ‘hierarchy’ stuff. I think he was a great guitarist with a style all of his own (‘What We All Want’ is another big favourite) and it was a great, great shame and shock that he left us at far too young an age……” Crispin Gray (Guitarist for Daisy Chainsaw, Queenadreena and Starsha Lee).
