Andy produced the debut album for French pop rock band Asyl for leading French independent label Because. He also provided guitar feedback on the track Zeppelin.

“There’s a French band called Asyl and they knew exactly what they wanted to do, the sound they were going for. It’s simpler and I quite like that.” – Andy Gill, Tape Op, 2009.

“We were looking for a producer and since we had a cold and violent sound, we sent him [Andy] the CD and a few tracks and he got on well. So we went to London at his place, and he agreed to make the record.” – Nicolas Freidline from Asyl, Melty.fr, 2009.
